Major outcome The integration of those in refugee-situations is a challenge shared by European socieities, requiring a sustained balance between human rights, dignity and empowerment with security. To achieve long-term solutions, cooperative solutions are required, looking to link the civil society with governmental and supranational efforts. In this process, educational and civic professionals play a paramount role, either in the way to motivate the new comers, but also to motivate the host communities. To do so, different techniques and methods can be used, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming communication.
